I confirm that I have read and agree to the MOKO Sports Terms & Policies, including the attendance, cancellation, make-up, weather, credit and refund policies.
Quick Summary
Term programs follow the school term calendar. The final week of term is the make-up week and is not included in the standard term fee.
Group students may use up to 2 approved absences per term, provided notice is given before the session starts.
Private lessons are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Lessons may proceed in light rain where courts are considered safe and playable. Lessons are cancelled in extreme heat above 35°C.
Credits are not refundable, non-transferable and must be used within the permitted period.

- By enrolling in any MOKO Sports program, making a booking, or attending a lesson, the participant and/or parent or guardian confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
- Failure to read or understand these Terms does not exempt any participant from compliance.
- MOKO Sports reserved the right to update or amend these terms at any time. The most current version will apply to all future participation and bookings.

- Term booking: A reserved place in a class or lesson for the duration of a school term.
- Casual booking: A one-off or short-term booking subject to availability.
- Make-up week: The designated final week of the term for approved make-up sessions.
- Credit: A retained lesson value on account (not redeemable for cash).
- Late cancellation:
- Private lessons: cancellation within 24 hours
- Group lessons: absence notified after session start
- Approved absence: Absence notified before the session within permitted limits.
3. Bookings and Enrolment

- Term enrolment secures a place and, where applicable, a regular coach and time slot.
- All bookings are limited and arranged in advance based on court allocation, coach availability and scheduling.
- Enrolment is based on commitment to the full term.
- Casual bookings do not guarantee ongoing placement, coach, or time slot.
- MOKO Sports reserves the right to assess and place participants into suitable groups.
4. Payments
4. Payments
- Term fees must be paid by the due date advised by MOKO Sports in order to confirm and retain the booking.
- Failure to make payment may result in immediate suspension, refusal of attendance, or cancellation of enrolment without notice.
- Card payments incur a 1.6% processing fee.
- MOKO Sports does not offer trial pricing.
- Discounts, special offers, or credits are applied at MOKO's discretion and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Pricing, Refunds and Credits

- Lesson fees and term pricing are based on reserved court hire, coach allocation, administration and program planning.
- All fees paid are strictly non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Except where required by Australian Consumer Law, fees paid are non-refundable for change of mind, personal scheduling conflicts, holidays, or non-attendance.
- Where a credit is approved by MOKO Sports, it is non-transferable, non-refundable and must be used within the period advised by MOKO Sports.
- Unused credits and make-up sessions are forfeited if not used within the permitted timeframe.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

- More than 24 hours' notice: no cancellation fee applies.
- Within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson: 50% of the lesson fee applies.
- No notice, or cancellation after start: the full lesson fee applies.
- If a participant arrives late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time. Lost time due to late arrival is not made up or refunded.
- If MOKO Sports or the assigned coach cancels a private lesson, a reschedule or lesson credit will be provided.
7. Group Lessons

- A minimum of 3 players is required to commence a class.
- Once commenced, classes will continue regardless of attendance numbers.
- Each student is allowed up to 2 approved absences per term for group lessons.
- Where absences exceed the allowed amount, additional missed sessions will be counted as used and no make-up, credit or refund will be provided.
- If notice is given after the class has started or after the class has finished, the session will be counted as attended.

- Make-ups are only available for approved group / private absences or approved cases.
- Make-ups should be completed during the make-up week in the same term unless advised otherwise.
- If scheduling does not allow completion within the term:
- MOKO Sports may allow carry-over to the next term (at its discretion).
- All make-ups:
- Must be confirmed in advance
- Are subject to coach, class, and court availability
- Make-ups:
- Cannot be held indefinitely
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be used after expiry
- During make-up week:
- Classes may be merged or adjusted.
- A make-up session:
- Does not guarantee the same coach or class.
9. Weather Policy

- All lessons are conducted outdoors, so weather is an unavoidable operational factor.
- In rain or uncertain weather, lesson status is generally confirmed by SMS or message approximately 30 minutes before the session, although this may vary depending on conditions.
- If courts are considered safe and playable and only light rain is present, lessons may proceed as scheduled.
- If the temperature exceeds 35°C, lessons will be cancelled.
- MOKO Sports retains the final decision on court safety, playability and whether a lesson proceeds, is modified, or is cancelled.
- If a lesson is stopped early due to weather, MOKO Sports will determine in good faith whether a partial credit, make-up arrangement, or no replacement applies depending on how much of the lesson was completed.
10. Attendance, Time Slot Retention and Ongoing Commitment

- Regular attendance is expected for all term bookings.
- For private lesson students with a fixed weekly slot, repeated cancellations or inconsistent attendance may result in MOKO Sports no longer being able to hold that specific coach or time slot.
- As a general guide, if a private student cancels more than 2 sessions in a term, MOKO Sports may review whether the fixed booking can continue.
- Where a participant pauses for a period, their previous slot may not remain available when they wish to return.
11. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

- For junior participants, a parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring the child is dropped off and collected on time.
- Parents or guardians must ensure that emergency contact details, medical information relevant to participation, and collection arrangements are kept current.
- If a child is permitted to leave the venue independently, written permission may be required.
- Parents and guardians must not distract the class, coach from the sidelines in a disruptive manner, or interfere with lesson delivery.
12. Medical, Health and Emergency Information

- Participants and parents or guardians must inform MOKO Sports of any medical condition, injury, allergy, physical limitation or other relevant issue that may affect participation.
- MOKO Sports may refuse participation or modify training where it considers that participation is not suitable or safe.
- In the event of illness or injury during a session, MOKO Sports may provide reasonable first response assistance and contact the nominated emergency contact where appropriate.
- Any costs associated with medical treatment, ambulance attendance or related services remain the responsibility of the participant or parent or guardian.
13. Conduct and Safety

- All participants and spectators are expected to behave respectfully toward coaches, staff, other players and venue users.
- Unsafe, abusive, aggressive, discriminatory or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
- MOKO Sports may issue warnings, refuse participation for a session, move a player to another group, or cancel enrolment where behavior is repeatedly inappropriate or where safety is affected.
- Players must wear suitable tennis or sports footwear and bring appropriate equipment, water and sun protection where relevant.
14. Photography, Video and Privacy

- MOKO Sports may collect and use contact details and enrolment information for coaching administration, scheduling, communication and operational purposes.
- Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during training or events for coaching review, club communication, website use or marketing unless a written opt-out is provided.
- MOKO Sports will take reasonable care in handling personal information, but participants should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information unless relevant to participation or safety.
15. Changes to Programs and Coach Allocation

- MOKO Sports may change coaches, class times, class structure, training format, court allocation or program arrangements where reasonably necessary due to weather, coach availability, enrolment numbers, venue limitations, safety issues or other operational circumstances.
- Where practical, reasonable notice of major changes will be provided.
- Such changes do not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
16. Liability

- Tennis and physical activity involve inherent risks including slips, falls, collision, overexertion and accidental injury.
- To the extent permitted by law, MOKO Sports is not liable for personal injury, loss, damage or expense arising from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Participants attend and take part at their own risk and are expected to exercise reasonable care for their own safety and property.
- Personal belongings brought to the venue remain the responsibility of the participant.

- These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

- By submitting an enrolment, making a booking, or attending a lesson, the participant and/or parent or guardian acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
- MOKO Sports may rely on this acknowledgement in administering enrolments, attendance, credits, cancellations and disputes.
